Focus on human resources
Our main resource is our people because they have the skills and capabilities required to do our job better and provide a high-quality service.
Human resource management is closely associated with the strategic guidelines of sustainability and aims to place people at the centre. It is our priority to care for every aspect of the professional and personal growth of our employees, from training to growth and talent enhancement, to protecting health and safety and creating a positive working environment well balanced with private life.
We also promote protecting the right to work, equal opportunities for all employees and a common working culture, focused on active participation in the development processes, orientation towards efficiency, guaranteed service quality, environmental protection and workplace safety.
It is our utmost priority to address all aspects of the professional and human growth of our employees, from training to the growth and development of talents, to the protection of health and safety and the creation of a positive and balanced work environment with respect to private life.
We believe that diversity is an asset to the company and we do not tolerate any form of discrimination based on gender, age, health condition, nationality, political opinion or religious views. Equal opportunities are a principle that drives us throughout the process of managing our people.
There are three key aspects to our commitment to people: employment and protection of labour rights, development and appreciation of human capital, diversity and corporate welfare. In 2018 we worked in all three areas. Here are some of the figures of our commitment:

Our Digital Factory is the "innovation-lab" that supports the group in its digital transformation process. Here, multi-functional teams work together to develop new solutions aimed at digitalising business processes through the introduction of innovative technologies and the adoption of an agility-oriented culture. In 2019, it will involve an increasing number of resources and collaborations with third parties such as universities and start-ups.
Flexible Benefits Plan
Employees who receive the production bonus may choose to convert a portion of the Participation Bonus to access welfare goods and services, for themselves or their families, without any tax or social security payment.
We have provided an additional Welfare Bonus of 18% of the converted share to all those who have chosen to convert their prize into Welfare Credit.
Ingegnere, Feminine Plural
The "IngegnerE, feminine plural” initiative, launched in 2018 also through our official social media channels, will continue in 2019. It concerns the search for women with a master's degree in engineering (in particular Energy, Civil, Environment, Management) and has already led to the recruitment of 11 young female engineers in the areas of engineering, investment, plant and commercial.
